Katie Greenwood once said “Music isn’t just learning notes and playing them, You learn notes to play to the music of your soul.” How true indeed! But have you ever thought about how tedious a task it would be for the artists to carry heaps of sheet music. Perhaps someone somewhere sensed their plea!
Yanko Design’s EMS is an all-new solution to this problem. EMS which stands for E-paper Music Score incorporates E-paper technology. Only one flexible screen can be unrolled to feed sheet music through Bluetooth from a computer. And to turn the page all that musicians need to do is tap on the Bluetooth foot peddle.
Currently, just a “concept” – but if it materializes it could be of great assistance for musicians who have to handle instruments that are practically twice their size.
However, one thing that has to be kept in mind is that e-paper is rather uncommon and a tad bit expensive, so this kind of a device would be only affordable to a professional bunch and not for amateurs. But all the same, great piece of technology!
