Dual SIM HTC Desire VC hits Snapdeal in India

After the Desire V and Desire C, the Taiwanese manufacturer has quietly released the HTC Desire VC in India through online retailer Snapdeal. The smartphone binges on the Ice Cream Sandwich platform tweaked with Sense 4.0 that tags along options like pure reader and read later along with homescreen app management amongst others.

The handset with a brushed metal finish, dons a 4-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen of a 480 x 800p resolution. It is powered by 512MB RAM, a Cortex A5 processor that clocks in a speed of 1GHz and the Adreno 200 GPU. The rear panel of the device has been graced with a 5MP camera that boasts of LED flash, auto focus, geo-tagging, video recording capability and more.

The dual SIM phone with dimensions of 62.3 x 119.5 x 9.42 millimeters, tips the scales at 118 grams. Although, it ships with 4GB onboard memory and 25GB Dropbox storage, an expansion slot to accommodate a microSD card of up to 32GB capacity has also been provided. This GPS-enabled handset draws power from a 1650mAh lithium-ion battery and comes with connectivity options such as a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Moreover, the phone’s communication features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, while it extends support to 3G networks too. It even acts as a mobile hotspot to share an internet connection with multiple handheld devices. And like most other HTC gadgets, it has been deployed with Beats Audio too.
