Nvidia is back in the news. This time around it’s for their newly launched Nvidia Verde Drivers for laptop PCs that allow 3D Vision-ready displays to be connected to the device, as announced by the official Nvidia blogspot.
Users can hook up a 3D projector, 120Hz LCD or DLP HDTV to play more than 425 game titles, enjoy movies or view photos in full stereoscopic 3D with this driver. The full 3D Vision CD kit for laptops including the Verde release 197.16 display drivers and 3D Vision drivers can be downloaded from the company’s official website.
The driver kit is compatible with the Asus G51J 3D notebook that integrates a 3D Vision LCD display screen. A full HD 1080p Alienware or Acer LCD display may also be connected to a laptop for an immersive stereoscopic experience. There are a number of GeForce GPUs that the driver accommodates with select display connector requirements on a laptop needed to attach it to 3D Vision-ready displays.
What’s more, the Verde Drivers will supply updates for notebook owners who have the previously announced Nvidia 3D Play software that enables laptop to 3DTV connectivity via an HDMI 1.4 terminal.
