Dell India recently announced the launch of the Vostro 15 3000 laptop series which is designed for small businesses and professionals. The new addition delivers a portable design and performance-driven components with prices starting at Rs 30090.
The Dell Vostro 15 3000 has professional written all over. The Dell laptop dons an industrial design with a grey metallic finish. It weighs 2.38kg and measures 267.5mm x 381.4mm x 25.6mm in dimensions. Under the lid, a 15.6-inch LED-backlit anti-glare LCD display delivers visuals at 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, while the bottom half of the notebook features a full-size chiclet keyboard with a 10-key numeric pad and a multi-touch trackpad.
Dell is offering a choice of processors depending on your needs. You can either choose a Celeron chip or a fourth generation Core i5 and i3 CPU. There are optional Nvidia graphics as well, and up to 8GB of RAM. For storage, you get choices of 500GB and 1TB HDDs.

Keeping the laptop’s main purpose in mind, Dell has thrown in various connectivity features such as USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, an SD card slot, a RJ-45 port and VGA video output. Sadly, there’s no mention of HDMI, but you do get Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with Miracast in Windows 8.1 and Bluetooth v4.0. Additionally, there’s an 8X DVD+/-RW optical drive onboard too.
