The Dell XPS One 27 AIO PC running Windows 8 is the latest to make its presence felt in the moments leading up to the IFA, in addition to other new XPS members, the Duo 12 and the XPS 10. And with all the new reveals that have come pouring out in Berlin, this one must be categorized as a re-announcement of sorts. The new One 27 all-in-one slides well into the company’s philosophy of accommodating ever-evolving consumers.
The new XPS One 27 sports a Wide Quad HD display described by the company as vibrant and stunning, spanning 27 inches. The screen is said to deliver about 78 percent more pixels than standard full HD displays. The thing has been infused with touch functionality of course, and due to an adjustable stand can be made to lay flat. In this position, the One 27 seems Microsoft Surface-esque.
“The XPS 10, XPS Duo 12 and XPS One 27 represent the culmination of a deep understanding of the ‘Bring Your Own Device’ movement and insights gained from both our consumer and business customers,” Sam Burd, global Vice President, PC product group at Dell, commented.
Speaking on the additions to the XPS line, he added, “The new set of products Dell unveiled today represents a milestone in our design and approach to user experience. Our vision for our XPS line of computers is not just about the device or technology, it’s about achieving the perfect balance of amazing design, end user productivity and IT enablement.”
The Dell XPS One 27 AIO PC also comes with Infinity Premium speakers as well as audio technology in the form of Waves MaxxAudio 4, proving it is just as capable when it comes to entertainment needs of consumers.
Not much else has been made known in the way of specs, and the Dell XPS One 27 AIO PC price and release date also remain in the dark. It is expected to arrive when Windows 8 does, towards the end of October.
