The Datawind PocketSurfer range of phones has been unveiled in India and users will be delighted to know that the company has decided to offer smartphones starting at a price of Rs 3,499. The lineup not only features Android devices, but also a Linux-based handset and all three contenders have already been made available through the official website.
These phones dubbed PocketSurfer3G5, PocketSurfer5 and PocketSurfer5X show off a 5-inch touchscreen and are adorned with dual SIM card slots. Each of them has a microSD card slot for allowing users to expand the internal memory and a micro USB port is present for tethering them to computer systems and other accessories. The gadgets even boast of a front-facing VGA camera.
