There’s a new smartphone on the block in the form of the Coolpad Note 3 Lite which will be sold in India at just Rs 6999. It is supposed to be offered via Amazon by means of flash sales, the first one among which has been scheduled for January 28.
The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is a slightly watered down version of the company’s Note 3 which is already available in the country. Just like its big brother, this one too carries on its rear surface a fingerprint scanner for added security.
Coolpad has blessed this device with a 5-inch 720p HD display, and has infused it with the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS that’s skinned with Cool UI 6.0. It has been mentioned that a Marshmallow update will be issued for it in the future.

The Note 3 Lite has been equipped with a 1.3GHz quad core MediaTek MT6735 processor which has been assisted by 3GB worth of RAM. As for the storage space, 16GB worth of it has been granted to it aside from a microSD card slot. It’s a dual SIM 4G phone which has been fitted with a 13MP main camera and a 5MP front snapper. Furthermore, a 2500mAh battery has made its way into the device.
