Celkon has finally joined the bandwagon of mid-range KitKat phones in India through its latest Millennium Power Q3000 and Millennium Elite Q470 Android handsets. Both devices carry affordable price tags with the former device going on sale at Rs 8999.
The Celkon Millennium Power Q3000 looks like your average Android smartphone, but it does have a couple of alluring features onboard. If KitKat isn’t enough of a selling point, there’s a 5-inch display on the front, albeit the resolution is a mere FWVGA. On the bright side, there’s a 1.3GHz quad core MT6582M processor with Mali 400 graphics doing the heavy lifting on the inside.
Accompanying it is 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a microSD card slot with 32GB support and a large 3000mAh battery which sadly, can only deliver 12 hours of talktime on 3G. The phone also features dual cameras, 1.3MP front and 8MP rear, and dual SIM support.
The Celkon Millennium Elite Q470 is a slightly beefier smartphone. It dons a smaller 4.7-inch touchscreen, but with 720p HD visuals. The processor here is the same 1.3GHz chipset from MediaTek and you also get Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.
Here are the keys specs of the Celkon Millennium Elite Q470:
