Celkon Millennia Q450 is quite stylish, yet entry-level

Celkon Mobiles has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market under the Millennia Q450 moniker and it has designed the device to deliver a stylish design with an affordable price tag. The handset is official at just Rs 4799 and it has quite the attractive form factor considering the amount you’ll be shelling out.

The overall design of the Celkon Millennia Q450 is basic, but what makes it attractive is the textured rear panel is has to offer. The phone comes in three different shades, namely black, white and white with gold. In addition to the premium look, there’s a custom UI that flaunts a theme which matches the exterior.

On the hardware front, the Celkon smartphone is an entry-level release offering features quite similar to what you’d find on an Android One device. It carries a 4.5-inch WVGA IPS display and a 2MP camera on the front with a 5MP shooter on the rear. Android 4.4 KitKat comes preloaded with the handset and there’s a slim chance of it getting Lollipop.

Coming to the main hardware, the innards comprise of a 1.2GHz quad core processor, 4GB of flash storage and a microSD card slot. The main downside here is that there’s a mere 512MB of RAM. And to power things up, an 1800mAh battery has been employed. Other standard components like dual SIM card slots, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are also onboard.
