The latest DSLR snapper to roll out though a certain Japan-based optics manufacturer is the Canon EOS Rebel T4i. This device is touted to arrive with an upgraded AF system which brings forth a 9-point all cross-type AF array.
Embedded with an 18MP CMOS sensor, the camera in question holds the capability to record videos in up to 5fps. This feature is made possible through the DIGIC 5 image processor. What’s more, the device comes with a high ISO range of 100 to 12800, while the H mode can go all the way up to ISO 25600. With the 3-inch Clear View LCD touchscreen, photographers can snap up images using touch focus.

Other features include enhanced quality in low-light captures, full HD video recording and a host of new modes including the handheld night scene, HDR backlight control, multi-shot noise reduction and more. Canon has even introduced 2 new STM lenses possessing the Stepping Motor technology, which play well with the EOS Rebel T4i. They comprise of the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS and EF 40mm f/2.8.
The Canon EOS Rebel T4i release date points to sometime during the end of June. It will be available for a price of $849.99, while the EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens kit bundle and Movie Kit bundle featuring the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM lens will be available for $949.99 and $1,199, respectively.
