Panasonic HX-A500 is a wearable camera that can stick to your ears to offer 4K POV video

Here’s another new gadget you never realized you wanted so dearly; the Panasonic HX-A500 which is constituted by a wearable camera unit and its LCD-equipped controller which too can be strapped onto your body. The highlight of this shooter is that it’s the world’s first wearable camera to offer 4K videos at the sweet 25fps frame rate.

The Panasonic HX-A500 can be attached to your ears for 4K POV video recordings. And this easily manages to pair it opposite the GoPro series of cameras. A range of accessories have been granted to it, so that it not only sticks to your ears but even on other parts of the body. Moreover, you can also mount it at your own desired locations.

The camera piece sends its data to a body unit which kicks in a 1.5-inch 115,200-dot color LCD screen. Both these pieces of machinery can survive in up to 3 meters of water for 30 minutes. Apart from 25fps 4K shooting, the Panasonic HX-A500 is even capable of doing slow-motion video.

You can stretch up to 50p at 1920 x 1080 pixels, 100fps at 1280 x 720 pixels and a whopping 200fps at 848 x 480 pixels. This camera features Wi-Fi and NFC compatibility for easy data transfers, and it has even been blessed with technologies like EIS Image Stabilization, Level Shot Function and a Real Time Broadcasting facility for UStream.
