Buffalo WCR-GN router

A wireless router that is easy to use and hassle free may not really be that difficult to find after all. At least with the wireless router terrain being flooded with some interesting products, most requirements seem to be satiated. Buffalo adds to this space with the recent release of its new Wireless AirStation N-Technology Broadband Router & Access Point namely the WCR-GN.

Claimed to be a powerful entry-level wired and wireless solution, the router should typically suit the needs of wireless home network needs. Infused with a simple push button set-up, it appears to be a good blend of speed and security. The device should also allow users to share their Internet connection seamlessly between family members while viewing files, music, or video.

Making the most of the latest wireless LAN technology, the 150Mbps router offers high speed Internet connections of up to 150Mbps. This is said to be nearly three times faster than Wireless G routers. Incorporated with a built-in 100Mbps 4-port router, it renders sharing of connections between home PCs effortless. The device is also easy to set up thanks to the AirStation One-Touch Secure System.

Extending its support to WDS, users can anticipate augmented coverage with optional repeater. Besides, the device works just as well with 802.11n/g/b devices from other vendors.

Users can buy the new Buffalo WCR-GN for Rs. 3,200.
