Break open those piggy banks, Apple’s iPad Air 2 and mini 3 to arrive in India tomorrow

It looks like Apple is all set to launch its new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 tablets in India starting tomorrow and they could be made available for purchase on the same day itself. The Cupertino giant hasn’t officially disclosed this information, but word on the street is that the duo is definitely coming.

Top retailer ITNET has disclosed via Twitter that the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 will be coming to India tomorrow. Prices for both tablets in the country were already announced by Apple back in October when it revealed the slates for the first time. The new 9.7-inch Wi-Fi model will be available for Rs 35900 with 16GB of storage.

The 64GB option, on the other hand, will cost Rs 42900, while the 128GB configuration will set your back by Rs 49900. For the cellular variants, be ready to shell out Rs 45900, Rs 52900 and Rs 59900, respectively. Coming to the iPad mini 3, the 16GB Wi-Fi choice will be available at Rs 28900, the 64GB version for Rs 35900 and Rs 42900 for the 64GB model,

The Wi-Fi + Cellular variant will have you shell out Rs 38900 (16GB), Rs 45900 (64GB) and Rs 52900 (128GB). The new iPad mini 3 is basically the same as the previous model, but has the TouchID sensor onboard. The Air 2, on the other hand, features a decent amount of changes as it has a thinner design of 6.1mm, a lighter build of 437 grams and the Apple A8X processor amongst others.
