It’s no surprise that the Micromax Bolt A61 has a price of Rs 4,999 attached to it. The company has always saved the Bolt moniker for its more budget-friendly smartphones. This brand new handset has crept in without an announcement, but you can buy it directly from its official website.
If you ask us about its main selling point, we won’t have an answer. Because the Bolt A61 is exactly what it says it is – a pretty ordinary phone with specifications to match its price. It’s got a nice metallic finish and sports a 4”, 480 x 800p resolution capacitive touchscreen.
The phone is powered by Jelly Bean 4.1 (no mention about future updates) and holds a 1GHz processor to its heart. There’s 256MB of RAM and 512MB of internal memory. The onboard storage space is obviously not going to be enough for entertainment hoarders.
So the company has thrown in a microSD card slot for adding up to 16GB of extra room. The main camera on the rear panel is a 2MP one for basic photography needs and nothing more. You can scroll down to take a look at the detailed specs.
