BlackBerry’s mammoth-sized Passport phablet will sell for Rs 49990 in India

It’s been just a few days since the BlackBerry Passport phablet went official in the US and the phone has already made its debut in India. The super size handset will retail for a whopping Rs 49990, which is akin to that of most other flagship smartphones in the country.

However, the price ($813 after conversion) is much more higher than what is being asked in other locations like the US where it’s selling at $699. The company still has quite a huge fan following in India and that’s probably the reason behind the BlackBerry Passport’s quick arrival.

The Passport can be considered as the first device from BlackBerry to deliver a perfect balance of modern technology with the classic QWERTY design.
