T-Mobile and Research In Motion (RIM) have launched the BlackBerry 8820 smartphone. The new business oriented phone features a built-in GPS and offers support for T-Mobile’s HotSpot @Home service for Wi-Fi calling.
With the help of the T-Mobile HotSpot @Home mobile add-on plan, users can enjoy Wi-Fi network almost anywhere in the US. The built-in GPS capability will help users to locate their destination easily. The GPS feature is compatible with BlackBerry Maps and support for TeleNav GPS Navigator.
Like all other BlackBerry phones, the BlackBerry 8820 also features a QWERTY keypad. Moreover, it is equipped with an ultra-bright 320 x 240 pixel display, media player supporting MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+ formats,
