Best Buy, the popular electronics retailer in US can now be found on airports as well! Yes, Best Buy will now be installing Best Buy Kiosks at airports and claims to provide electronic items ranging from digital cameras, mobile phones, mp3 players to SD cards, headphones, flash drives, etc.
These kiosks will work like vending machine, rolling out the electronic gadgets and accessories. Reportedly, there will be 12 Best Buy kiosks across airports in Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and San Francisco by first of September 2008.
“The launch of Best Buy Express is another way for Best Buy to provide consumers with the products they need from a brand they trust, even while they’re on-the-go,” said Chris Stidman, vice president of Strategic Planning for Best Buy.
“Whether travelers are looking to purchase a last minute gift or are in need of replacement for a lost, forgotten or broken product, these kiosks will allow them to purchase the product they want from a brand they trust.”
The best advantage of a Best Buy on the airport nearest to you happens to be that the gadgets will be sold at retail price and not at the airport prices.
