After introducing C series cameras, BenQ has rolled out one more camera named E800. It is an 8MP camera having 3x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch display. Besides, the camera is also equipped with “Smile Catch” mode, Auto Face Tracking and 13 optimized settings.
A Smile Catch mode enables to capture elusive smiles by automatically shooting in rapid succession, stopping only when the shutter button is pressed. This feature is especially very useful while clicking images of children.
Moreover, the Shake-Free mode delivers blur-free pictures. The E800 camera boasts Face Tracking feature that can fine-tune up to eight faces in one frame.
The 13 modes include Museum, Party, Beach, Fireworks etc. The new camera can also record fine videos with Movie Optical Zoom feature. An ISO of 1600 is another salient feature of the camera.
The E800 digital camera will be available in the market by May 2008. Pricing information has not been revealed.
