AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 price set at $300, release date for Nov 9

The price of the AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 2 has been revealed and the carrier has officially announced a release date. The S Pen toting device is now available to pre-order online. It was just last week that its price was leaked via Walmart, along with several other gadgets including the HTC 8X and the Nokia Lumia 810.

The Galaxy Note 2 will run on the carrier’s 4G LTE network and ships will Android Jelly Bean on board, giving users an experience a level above ICS. The one that will launch with AT&T will sport a quad core Exynos processor clocked at a speed of 1.6GHz. It will also have graphics enhancements and upgrades to the S Pen.

In terms of useful features, the successor to the Galaxy Note comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display which makes it easier to take notes and jot down ideas. The 8MP primary camera should be sufficient when it comes to imaging and video needs, and users can share their captured memories through Share Shot. Another sharing method, S Beam, is also present in order to connect with other Note 2 and Galaxy S3 devices.

The AT&T Galaxy Note 2 can be purchased for $300 with a 2-year agreement. Buying at no commitment will set users back about $650. The smartphone-tablet hybrid will be made available on November 9, 2012 and can be pre-booked now in titanium gray.
