The Asus ZenWatch 2 has been unveiled in India and is now selling exclusively via Flipkart, with plans to make it available offline through official company outlets at a later date. The smartwatch is priced at Rs 11999 for the 1.45-inch model and Rs 14999 for the 1.63-inch one.
Asus has blessed the ZenWatch 2 with a number of software features such as its ability to remotely click a photo by acting as a viewfinder for the user’s smartphone camera. Owners will also be able to mute an incoming call by placing their hand over the display of the gadget. After syncing with an Android or iOS device, users can view reminders, emails and messages.
The ZenWatch 2 has been equipped with a useful Find My Phone tool to locate misplaced phones by allowing users to remotely make their handset ring, vibrate and flash. It’ll also alert them in case they leave their smartphone behind and lock it automatically with a password if they do.
