Asus ZenFone Zoom finally lands in India

Asus ZenFone Zoom

It’s been a long wait, but the Asus ZenFone Zoom has finally arrived on Indian shores nearly a year after it was announced at CES 2015. The phone was only selling in Taiwan up till now and became available for pre-orders in the US just a few days ago.

Asus has slapped a price tag of Rs 37999 for the ZenFone Zoom. Like the other phones in the series, the handset is a Flipkart-exclusive and will also be sold via company outlets starting in February. The brand is further planning to offer it with a special bundle consisting of the ZenFlash and a portable tripod for Rs 39999 sometime in the future.

To recall, the main talking point of the ZenFone Zoom is its 13MP rear PixelMaster camera. The manufacturer is touting the device as the slimmest phone in the world to feature 3x optical zoom. It comes with a 10-element Hoya lens setup which delivers a total magnification of 12x. OIS, 0.03 second laser autofocus and dual-LED Real Tone flash complete the package.

Check out the top specifications of the Asus ZenFone Zoom:
