Earlier this month, we were treated to the launch of a slew of Asus ZenFone smartphones in India, and it’s time for some of them to be made available now. It has been revealed by the company that the Zenfone Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser and Zenfone 2 Deluxe variants will go on pre-order via Flipkart tomorrow.
These highly advanced offerings are distinguished by their relatively low prices. Along with them, a device named Asus ZenFone Max was also launched by the Taiwanese manufacturer, but there’s still time for it actually reach the market.
The Zenfone Selfie happens to be a selfie phone; no surprises here! It offers a 13MP front facing camera supported by a dual-LED flash to serve this purpose. This phone runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, and is fueled by a Snapdragon 615 processor.
Either 2GB or 3GB of RAM is available along with it, and both these models will be made available in India tomorrow. A 13MP rear camera also forms part of its offerings, apart from a 3000mAh battery pack.
The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is highlighted by its laser autofocus technology which enables it to click photographs in just 0.3 seconds. This smartphone exists in 5.5-inch and 6-inch models, but only the former variant will be doled out in tomorrow.
Now, even this model comes in the form of two variants; one offering 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 410 CPU and the other 3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 615 CPU. There’s a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front snapper present on it, apart from a 3000mAh battery.

And then there’s the premium Zenfone 2 Deluxe which happens to be the most expensive device among the lot. This 4G handset kicks in a 5.5-inch 1080p full HD display, dual SIM 4G LTE support, a 2.3GHz quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, 4GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop, a 13MP rear snapper and a 5MP front camera.
As for the pricing, the Zenfone Selfie will have its retail value starting at Rs 15999, while the Zenfone 2 Laser’s two variants will go for Rs 9999 and Rs 13999. The ZenFone 2 Deluxe on the other hand will be sold via Flipkart at Rs 22999 (64GB) or Rs 29999 (128GB).
