Asus is all set to launch the ZenFone 3S Max on February 7 in India, confirming the date via its social media channels. We’ve already taken the handset for a spin in our latest review video below.
Asus is yet to reveal the price and availability details of the ZenFone 3S Max. The phone will probably hit around the Rs 12000 to Rs 14000 mark. Like its previous variant, the new iteration’s claim to fame is its huge battery. The 5000mAh powerhouse is notably of a higher capacity than the former’s 4100mAh unit.
The ZenFone 3S Max doubles up as a powerbank for other devices via its reverse charging skills. As for its other features, the phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat straight out of the gate. The OS has been layered over with the brand’s own ZenUI 3.0, giving way to tools like ZenMotion Touch Gesture and GameGenie.

Asus has also equipped the handset with a fingerprint sensor which can be found embedded within the home button. The scanner is supposed to unlock the device within 0.5 seconds. As for photography, the smartphone comes with a 13MP rear camera blessed with dual-LED real-tone flash, an aperture of f/2.0, and 5P Largan lens.
