The Asus ZenFone 3S Max has officially arrived in India, hoping to attract buyers on the lookout for a big-battery phone. The handset is priced at Rs 14999 and will be sold via offline and online retailers. Check out our take on the smartphone in our latest review video below.
The ZenFone 3S Max’s 5000mAh battery is its biggest USP. Asus guarantees the powerhouse can last for up to 3 days without needing to be refueled. In terms of numbers, the device is supposed to go on for up to 28 hours of talk time and 34 days of standby time. It also does double duty as a powerbank via reverse charging technology.
Other notable highlights of the ZenFone 3S Max include the fact that it has an ICE-power boosted 5-magnet loudspeaker and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, layered with the brand’s own ZenUI 3.0 on top. It’s also made entirely out of metal and sports a 360-degree fingerprint scanner that’s apparently able to unlock the phone within 0.5 seconds.
