Asus VivoTab RT AT&T release date unclear, coming in time for the holidays

The Asus VivoTab RT AT&T release date details are not yet available. But this tablet running the Windows RT platform, will hit store shelves in time for the holiday season. Along with the tab, the network provider has also revealed that it will start selling the Samsung Ativ which takes advantage of the latest operating system from Microsoft as well.

According to its manufacturer, this Asus device is the first Windows RT-based tablet that is deployed with a quad core processor and has the ability to support 4G LTE network connectivity. The lightweight and sleek slab is said to be apt for on-the-go gaming and entertainment, while it even claims to keep users productive at all times. An Nvidia Tegra 3 TE processor hides under the hood along with 2GB RAM and a 12-core GPU is responsible for delivering improved graphics.

The front panel of the Windows slate is fitted with a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ 10-point multi-touch display powered by the Asus TruVivid technology and a 2MP camera, while the flip side sports an 8MP camera with attributes like auto focus and LED flash. Featuring 32GB integrated storage, it is pre-loaded with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 RT Preview Edition. The device’s wireless communication options include Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.

The Asus VivoTab RT AT&T will be here before the holiday season kicks off, but its price and release date have not been given a mention.
