Asus has reportedly begun sending out the Nougat update for the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) and ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL). It seems owners of the phones in the Philippines have started receiving the promotion first.
Asus hasn’t said anything official about the Android 7.0 rollout yet. There’s no telling when it’ll choose to extend the upgrade to other markets as of now, though the process will probably begin sooner than later. Tech Updates reports that Nougat adds multi-window support and notification control changes to the ZenFone 3 (ZE520KL) and ZenFone 3 (ZE552KL).
Further details about specific ZenUI changes aren’t available right now. Nougat of course brings with it a ton of improvements such as an enhanced Doze on the Go battery saver tool which detects when a handset has been kept in a bag or purse and conserves power accordingly.
