Asus Pegasus 2 Plus goes official at a Chinese exhibition

A new Asus Pegasus 2 Plus handset has been unveiled by the Taiwanese company perhaps with an aim of reminding us that its Pegasus series is still alive amidst all the ZenFone hoopla. This device was showcased at a Chinese exhibition over this weekend, and can be classified as a mid-range smartphone.

The Asus Pegasus 2 Plus boasts of a large 5.5-inch display that showcases its visuals in 1080p full HD resolution. So there is basically no difference between the panel that rests atop this handset and the one that can be found on the high-end ZenFone 2 models.

Despite its infamous reputation, Asus has chosen to go with the Snapdragon 615 chipset for its latest offering. This SoC kicks in 64-bit support and offers octa core processing, but is prone to heating up quite often. Let us now see how it works with this particular device.
