Asus has launched the ZenBook 3 Deluxe at CES 2017, positioning the razor-thin laptop as a worthy competitor to the MacBook Pro. It’s calling the device an enhanced version of its predecessor which was similarly looking to take on Apple’s line of notebooks.

This time round, Asus has managed to fit in a 14-inch panel onto a 13-inch chassis, a significant increase from the previous ZenBook 3’s 12.5-inch screen. The expanded real estate has also translated to there being 3 USB-C ports in the newer edition instead of a single solitary one like the older model.

One of the top highlights of the ZenBook 3 Deluxe is its slim and lightweight design with super narrow bezels. It measures 12.9mm in terms of thickness and weighs in at 1.1kg only. The laptop has been carved out of aluminum and features the latest 7th gen Intel Core Kaby Lake processors, up to 16GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM, and up to 1TB PCI Express SSD storage.
