Asus has finally shown off its new ZenFone 4 series to the world, launching 6 new models in one go. The company is going big on dual cameras this year, equipping its new phones with twin lenses either on the front or the back.
Starting off with the ZenFone 4, the 5.5-inch handset’s dual cameras consist of a 12MP f/1.8 Sony IMX362 shooter and an 8MP 120-degree wide-angle lens. The phone runs on the new Snapdragon 630 or 660 processors, a 3300mAh battery, and 4GB or 6GB of RAM. Its front and back has been encased in 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass with Asus’s signature concentric circle design.
The ZenFone 4 Pro takes things up a notch with specs like a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 6GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of ROM, and a 3600mAh battery. The flagship offering’s twin-camera setup packs a 12MP f/1.7 Sony IMX362 shooter and 16MP 2x lossless optical zoom snapper.

Moving on to the ZenFone 4 Selfie, it sports dual 20MP + 8MP lenses up front, alongside an LED flash unit. There’s a 16MP snapper at the back, while a Snapdragon 430 CPU powers it within. Asus has also added a new SelfieMaster app to allow users to apply real-time beautification effects to photos, videos, and live streams.
Next up is the ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro, a phone which the company claims has the world’s most advanced selfie cameras. A 24MP and 5MP pair can be seen up front, with the former equipped with a Sony IMX362 sensor and the latter with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. The duo is supposed to capture 2x brighter low-light selfies and 4K UHD videos.

Finally, the ZenFone 4 Max and ZenFone 4 Max Pro boast of a 5000mAh battery, Snapdragon 430 or 425 chipsets, 16GB/32GB/64GB of ROM, and 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM. The former sports a 13MP + 5MP setup at the back, while the latter goes for a 16MP + 5MP one.
