Asus has refreshed its Zenbook laptop series with two new additions the UX303LA and UX303LN, both delivering a high performance Core i7 processor with an extremely slim design. The new Asus notebooks have been launched with prices starting at $899.
The Asus Zenbook UX303 features a new smoky brown metallic-finish with the traditional spun texture on the top. Also, these laptops are pretty slim at just 0.7 inches thick and they weigh around 3.2 pounds. The UX303LA is the base model and it offers a Core i5 4210U processor which can be upgraded to the faster Core i7.
The new Asus Zenbook laptop features integrated graphics and a 13.3-inch 1080p IPS touchscreen with Windows 8.1 running the show. And where memory is concerned, there’s 8GB of DDR3L RAM and a 128GB SSD. Coming to the UX303LN model, this one not only sports a Core i7 4510U CPU, but also discrete Nvidia GeForce GT 840M graphics with 2GB DRR3 memory.

To top it off, the 13.3-inch touchscreen offers QHD+ (3200 x 1800 pixel) resolution. Then there’s 12GB of RAM and a total of 256GB SSD storage. Both notebooks are fitted with an HD camera and Bang & Olufsen ICEpower speakers backed by Asus’ SonicMaster technology. For connectivity, there’s HDMI output, a mini DisplayPort, USB 3.0 (3x) and a card reader. Being Ultrabooks, these laptops are capable of delivering up to 7 hours of activity on a single charge of the 50WH 3-cell battery.
The aforementioned price is for the Asus Zenbook UX303LA model, while the UX303LN laptop will retail for $1299 and up. Both notebooks will go on sale in September.
