Asus has officially announced its plans to launch a boatload of products at a big event on May 30 in Taipei. Dubbed the Zenvolution, the manufacturer will likely take the covers off its ZenFone 3 series of phones alongside a number of other offerings such as smartwatches, tablets and laptops.

Asus then plans to show off its new goods at Computex from May 31 to June 4. It usually debuts new products at the occasion, and this year looks no different. Sadly, it hasn’t given out any hints as to what the May 30 event could bring exactly. Its official site is currently displaying a countdown timer till the date arrives.

One thing that seems like a lock is its continued partnership with Intel given the presence of the brand’s symbol on the announcement page. The ZenFone 3 lineup of devices were previously spotted listed on Red Dot 21’s website showing off a new design and a couple of specs.

The profile for the ZenFone 3 had mentioned that it’ll support USB Type-C connectivity and is set to be sandwiched between two layers of 2.5D glass on both sides. A fingerprint scanner can be seen gracing the rear surface of the smartphone underneath the square-shaped camera module. The latter is accompanied by a dual-LED flash unit and laser autofocus.

Furthermore, it looks like Asus is looking to appeal to the selfie crowd thanks to LED flash making its way to the front surface of the phone as well. Moving on to the ZenFone 3 Deluxe, little is known about the handset’s specs other than its physical home button and full-metal body.

The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe had been described by the company as the only truly metallic phone in the world with no visible plastic antenna lines or decorations. Stay tuned for more on the series when it gets launched on May 30.
