Aspahlt 8: Airborne, Gameloft’s popular racing series’ new edition has finally zoomed into the mobile gaming realm and has already been made available for devices based on the Android and iOS platforms. The developer and Microsoft have also entered into a collaboration and owners of Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 gadgets can expect the application to dash in the respective marketplaces very soon.

The arcade racing game claims to offer an intense driving experience as it has been deployed with a new physics engine. Thanks to this, players can now perform aerobatics and barrel rolls while sprinting on the tracks. And what’s more, they can execute these stunts on some of the most stylish luxury vehicles as the title brings about 47 of them. While in the game, you can ride around town in cars from manufacturers like Ferrari, Buggati, Lamborghini, Veneno, Veyron and more. It goes without saying that it works towards offering enhanced graphics and visuals and even delivers realistic audio for an all-round gaming experience. You can opt for a setting from amongst the likes of Venice, French Guiana, Nevada Desert and Iceland to name a few.

All of these exotic locations with tracks in original and mirror variations, hide shortcuts that you can discover to get an edge over your rivals. It now features a detailed damage system and drags along game modes like Infected and Drift Gate, while its Career mode has 8 seasons and as many as 180 events. The racing game supports multiplayer gaming for 8 people and lets you have asynchronous races against friends. High scores and achievements will obviously show up on online leaderboards.

Asphalt 8: Airborne can now be purchased through iTunes and the Google Play store for $0.99.
