
Apple has just updated its MacBook consumer notebooks. The new MacBook notebooks have faster Intel Core 2 Duo processors, 1GB of memory and larger hard drives. Besides, the all new Apple MacBooks are just one-inch thin and features built-in 802.11n wireless networking for up to five times the performance and twice the range of 802.11g.
The new Apple MacBook comes in three models: sleek white 2GHz and 2.16GHz MacBook models and a black 2.16GHz Macbook model.
The updated MacBook notebooks feature a 13-inch glossy widescreen display. These notebooks also include a built-in iSight video camera that can be used for chatting on-th-go.
As Apple’s MacBooks have been designed for the mobile lifestyle, the new MacBooks include Apple’s MagSafe Power Adapter that magnetically connects the power cord to the MacBook and safely disconnects under strain.
The new Apple MacBook notebooks comes with Mac OS X version 10.4.9 Tiger, including Safari, Mail, iCal, iChatAV, Front Row and Photo Booth.
There are a number of useful applications preloaded onto Apple’s latest MacBooks. Part of the Apple iLife ’06 suite, these applications include iPhoto, iMovie HD, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb.

There is also an option for built-to-order MacBooks that include the ability to upgrade to 120GB or 160GB (5400rpm) or a 200GB (4200rpm) hard drive, up to 2GB DDR2 SDRAM, Apple USB Modem, Apple Mini-DVI to DVI adapter, Apple Mini-DVI to VGA adapter, Apple MagSafe Airline Adapter and the AppleCare Protection Ploan.
The 13-inch 2GHz white MacBook comes for a suggested retail price of $1099; the 2.16 white MacBook for $1299. You will have to shell out $1499 for 13-inch 2.16GHz black MacBook.
