Last week Apple announced that its iPod touch range, the 16GB model of which did not feature color selection options and an iSight camera will be getting both, along with a price drop for all three of its variants. While this change was limited to the US at that time, it has found its way into India now.
The 16GB model was originally sold dressed only in the space gray color option, but now consumers can choose from a range of different shades. Moreover, the 5MP iSight camera which also offers the benefits of full HD video recording will also form part of this variant of the music player. And instead of its earlier retail value of Rs 17800, the 16GB iPod touch will now go for Rs 16900.
Apple has not left out its other two variants from this mid-summer refresh. Both its 32GB and 64GB versions have received cuts in their Indian prices as well. While the former will start being offered for Rs 20900 instead of Rs 23900, the latter will be sold at Rs 24900 instead of its earlier price of Rs 29900.
