Apple’s insanely expensive iMac Pro has arrived in India

iMac Pro

Apple’s iMac Pro has at last arrived in India after getting announced all the way back in June 2017 and hitting international markets in December 2017. The all-in-one has made its way to the country in only its entry-level avatar.

This might have something to do with the fact that the iMac Pro’s basic variant is priced at Rs 415000 in India. That’s an insane amount of money for a workstation, but it makes sense when you consider Apple’s top smartphone is selling for a lakh. Gadgets 360 reports that there’s limited availability of the device right now and more stock should arrive by the end of the week.

In exchange for 4 lakhs, Apple will be giving you a 27-inch 5K monitor, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Mouse 2. The Magic Trackpad 2 has to be bought separately, but it’s currently not being sold in India. As for hardware specs, you will get 1TB of SSD storage, 32GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU, and an 8-core Intel Xeon processor.
