November 6 is the date on which the Apple Watch will be released for sale in India, but its makers have still kept a shroud on its official price. However, leaked information has disclosed that the device is all set to sell in the country at prices ranging from Rs 30900 to Rs 14.2 lakhs.
Like in other nations, the Apple Watch Sport versions will be the cheapest to buy. The 38mm variant of this device will be sold at Rs 30900, with the 42mm model going for Rs 34900.
As for the Apple Watch which comes with a stainless steel case, it will have its retail value locked at Rs 48900 (with a Sport band) or Rs 95900 (with a Link Bracelet). But the most eye-grabbing device of the lot is definitely the Apple Watch Edition which is expected to find little to no buyers due to its ridiculously high price.
A version with a Gold Case and Modern Buckle will set you back by Rs 14.2 lakhs. In the US, this particular variant goes for $17000 which converts to Rs 11 lakhs. But we know the usual story about the high import duties that result in Apple products costing more in India than anywhere else in the world.
The source of this information, Gadgets 360, has even mentioned that these smartwatches will be accompanied by the full range of interchangeable bands. They will have their costs starting at Rs 3900.
Like we said, the Apple Watch is all set to be released in India on November 6. It remains to be seen how the market receives this new product, especially since the country is still to embrace the wearable category whole-heartedly.
