Computer company Apple is setting up a technical support center at Bangalore, in India, reported The Times of India, a local Indian newspaper on Thursday.
In the new center, Apple will be hiring 1,500 staff at the technical center by the end of 2006. By the end of the year the amount will double and there would be around 3,000 members.
In the past too a number of multinational technology companies, including computer maker Dell Inc. have set up technical support centers in India, to support their global operations.
