Apple has dropped the price of its iPod Shuffle in the Indian market. iPod Shuffle is the smallest portable media player in Apple’s iPod line-up.
Now the 1GB iPod Shuffle will be available for Rs. 2,300 excluding taxes and 2GB model will cost Rs. 3,200 (local taxes apply).
Earlier, the 1GB iPod Shuffle was available for in India for Rs. 4500.
“With most flash-memory music players, users must use tiny displays and complicated controls to find their music; with iPod shuffle you just relax and it serves up new combinations of your music every time you listen.” said EY Yeo, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Apple Asia Pacific.
While the iPod Shuffle with 1GB capacity stores up to 240 songs, the 2GB model can store up to 500 songs. Besides, it boasts a battery life of upto 12 hours of continuous audio playback. Moreover, the Shuffle comes in four colors – blue, green, purple and silver.
The tiny iPod Shuffle comes along with a built-in clip. Hence the tiny device can be clipped to a sleeve, lapel or can also be slipped in the pocket.
