Apple Safari 3.1 Browser with a host of New Features now available

Apple Safari 3.1

Apple has updated its Safari Web browser to version 3.1. Available on both Windows and Mac OS X, Apple claims that this browser offers blazing performance. It also happens to be the first browser to support the latest innovative Web standards needed for a highly interactive Web 2.0 experience.

The Apple Safari browser 3.1 boasts 1.9 times faster performance speeds than Internet Explorer 7 and 1.7 times faster performance than Firefox 2, permitted that this browser runs on a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo-based iMac with 1GB of RAM running Windows XP. Further, it also runs JavaScript up to 6 times faster than other browsers can.

The Safari 3.1 browser also offers a very user-friendly and elegant user interface, allowing users to spend more time surfing the Internet, and less time waiting for pages to load.

The latest version of Safari browser also offers users an intuitive browsing experience with drag-and-drop bookmarks, easy-to-organize tabs, an integrated Find that shows the number of matches in a page and a built-in RSS reader for quick scanning of the latest news and information.

Making it another first for Internet browsers is the fact that Safari 3.1 supports new video and audio tags in HTML 5. Safari 3.1 browser is also the first to support CSS Animations. Besides this, the browser also supports CSS Web Fonts, offering designers infinite choices of fonts when creating Web sites.
