After all the Christmas binging, there are those few awkward days until New Year brings another reason for revelry. We’re obviously not including those who party away the entire Christmas to New Year period, of course. So for those who’re planning to take some time off, play around with their iDevices and wait for January 1, iTunes is happy to present 12 Days of Gifts.
Come all ye faithful
Only folks who get this application onto their iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, will be able to avail of the dozen downloads which are being promised by the company. The ‘gifts’ can be anything from movies to songs to iBooks to games to regular apps. Each free deal of the day will only be made available for 24 hours. After that, you will be able to have it at the regular price, just like everyone else.
This is the first time Apple is allowing US residents to participate in the giveaway, notes 9to5Mac. While the 12 Days of Gifts app may be downloadable in your country, it’s possible that all the content being offered for free won’t be available in certain regions. The deals will run right from December 26, 2013 until January 6, 2014.

The language support for this application covers Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. So no time like the present to update your iDevice to the latest version of iOS, you procrastinator.
