The official prices of the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus have surfaced online in the form of a document from the brand’s distributor, Ingram Micro, to its retail partners. The letter reveals that the cost of the basic 16GB model of each is Rs 62000 and Rs 72000, respectively.
The 64GB Apple iPhone 6S is pegged at Rs 72000, while the 128GB one is for Rs 82000. The iPhone 6S Plus will retail at Rs 82000 for its 64GB unit and Rs 92000 for the 128GB one. The note further details the new values of the older models. The reduction in cost follows the worldwide slashing of previous generations of iPhones.
According to NDTV, people will be able to buy the 16GB iPhone 6 for Rs 52000 and the 64GB one for Rs 62000. The 16GB iPhone 6 Plus will go on sale for Rs 62000, while its 64GB version is up for Rs 72000. The oldest phone on the list is the iPhone 5S, which now begins at Rs 35000 for its 16GB unit and Rs 40000 for the 32GB one.
