The iPad Mini that seems all set to be introduced on October 23, is expected to hit store shelves on November 2. Invites for the event for the device’s unveiling have already been sent out by Apple.
TechCrunch happened to get this information from its sources close to Apple’s supply chain. Geeky Gadgets had also managed to find out from a UK e-retailer that the little sibling of the iPad will make its debut next month, while the guys over at 9to5Mac had tweeted about Apple’s plans to launch its much-awaited tablet on November 2.
If the grapevine is to be believed, the Mini will be made available in shades of black and white and will come in variants with 8GB, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB internal storage. Not long ago, a screenshot from an inventory had spilled the beans about the prices of each of its variants and even revealed that the company will introduce the tab’s Wi-Fi as well as cellular versions.
The device that is expected to give tough competition to the likes of the Google Nexus 7, Kindle Fire and other tablets which fall into their category, may flaunt a 7.85-inch touchscreen on its front panel. Apparently, it has been loaded with internal components that are similar to those of the second generation iPad. This tablet may run on the latest version of iOS and acquire multitasking properties from a dual core A5 processor and 512MB of RAM.
Although the web is abuzz with speculations about the shipping date of the iPad mini, there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding the same. But we will not have to wait for long as the event is set to unfold tomorrow itself.
