It’s December 7 and as promised, Apple is launching the iPad Air and the iPad mini with Retina display in India today. Both gadgets will be made available through multiple authorized retailers in the country and a few of them have already listed the devices on their websites along with the price details.
Flipkart and Saholic are a couple of e-retailers who have put the devices up, but a shipping date is yet to be decided. Both the tablets come in variants with internal memory capacities of 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB and interested users get the option of picking them up in either silver or space gray colors. Moreover, you get to choose between Wi-Fi-only models and Cellular versions that support nano SIM cards too.
First up is the iPad Air and its basic 16GB Wi-Fi model has been priced at Rs 35,900. The 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants of the Wi-Fi-only gadget will set you back by Rs 42,900, Rs 49,900 and Rs 56,900, respectively. For the Wi-Fi + Cellular versions, you are required to pay up Rs 44,900 (16GB), Rs 51,900 (32GB), Rs 58,900 (64GB) and Rs 65,900 (128GB).
Coming to the mini, its Wi-Fi-only 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models cost Rs 28,900, Rs 35,900, Rs 42,900 and Rs 49,900, correspondingly. And the iPad mini with Retina display variants which have cellular support will be up for grabs for Rs 37,900 (16GB), Rs 44,900 (32GB), Rs 51,900 (64GB) and Rs 58,900 (128GB).
