Memory module maker Apacer, has just introduced its next-generation DDR2 800 FB-DIMM model in an effort to meet the high-capacity and high-speed needs of high-level servers and workstations.
In fact, Apacer’s latest offering was developed in conjunction with Intel and also uses the 2-way/ 4-way Intel Xeon processors.
The Apacer DDR2 800 FB (Fully Buffered) DIMM supports 4 memory channels simultaneously, with each channel supporting up to 4 FB-DIMM modules.
Besides, Apacer’s DDR2 800 FB-DIMM uses choice server-grade original dies packaged with advanced FBGA technology. It is thus able to deliver uncompromised heat-sinking and electrical features.
What’s more; all Apacer models in the DDR2 800 FB-DIMM range are 100% JEDEC-compliant.

Apacer has had many years of experience in the server market and has developed modules of different specifications using different technologies for servers, says Grace Lo, director of Apacer’s Module Division.
She also said that all Apacer products must compulsorily pass the demanding tests, including high/low temperature, high/low stress long term tests and motherboard demo tests. They also have to meet the high-reliability and high-compatability requirements of server memory modules.
