AOC Aire Monitor

Set to make its appearance at the CES 2012, the AOC Aire monitor with Docking Station allows users to mount an iPhone or iPod touch on it for a 23-inch full HD viewing experience. This display is also Windows 7 friendly and can be connected to a computer through the HDMI port.

At just 12.9mm thick, the monitor encompasses a sleek design and a black bezel. With the integrated docking station located on its base stand, users can access videos, audio and photos stored on an iPhone and iPod touch through the company’s plug-and-play technology. The display stretches up to a total of 23 inches diagonally and portrays 16.7 million colors, a 50,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution.

“The Aire Monitor with Docking Station is the ideal multimedia solution for iPhone and iPod users who want to watch movies or browse photos on a 23-inch high definition flat screen directly from their mobile device. The monitor displays photos and video content on a screen that is 37 times larger than the iPhone that it comes from,” expressed, Robert Velez, Marketing Manager of AOC.

For an enhanced experience, the base of the monitor incorporates built-in speakers that operate at 10 Watts each, with high-quality SRS Premium Sound technology. The company has also stated that along with its multiple power saving features, the LED backlit display is mercury free, which helps reduce the negative impact on the environment.

The AOC Aire monitor with Docking Station price tag reads as $279.99 and it will be available starting March, 2012 through national retailers in the U.S.
