There’s no telling where our daily iPhone 6 leaks and rumors can come from. Among the many sources which we’ve seen over the past few months, Amazon seems to be an odd participant, but the retailer’s Japanese portal has leaked out crucial details about the upcoming device.
As revealed by GSM Arena, the price for the 64GB model of the device was $1380 before it started being listed as out of stock. This error by Amazon also confirms that the new iPhone 6 will ship with a 4.7-inch display onboard. Keeping with Apple’s new Air philosophy, it will be 13cm x 6.5cm x 0.7cm is size and just 113gms in weight.
This handset is all set to be released this September with iOS 8 onboard. A recent rumor has speculated that a highly durable Sapphire display coating will be one of its highlighted features. There’s also the possibility of it being the first Apple smartphone to feature a processor clocked at 2GHz or above.
That’s not all; once the company is done with the launch of this 4.7-inch model it is expected to start preparing for the release of its first phablet, the 5.5-inch iPhone 6. This handset will apparently be out sometime early next year, and will bear a display with a QHD resolution.
