Amazon Game Studios enter social gaming with Living Classics

Facebook Game

With the introduction of Living Classics from Amazon Game Studios, the e-retailer in question has announced its arrival in the social gaming segment. The title has already made its debut on Facebook, reports the official Amazon Game Studios blog.

By setting its foot in the social gaming sector, Amazon looks forward to offering free titles that can be played at all times. Living Classics is termed as a ‘moving object game’ which features a family of foxes. It is filled with animated illustrations of books like The Wizard of Oz, King Arthur and Alice in Wonderland.

“We’re so happy to finally be able to reveal the social game we’ve been hard at work on – Living Classics. But before we jump into that, a little bit about us, since it’s not just our game, but also our team, Amazon Game Studios, that we’re announcing with this post,” says a post on the official Amazon Game Studios blog.

“Why is Amazon making social games, you ask? Good question! We know that many Amazon customers enjoy playing games – including free-to-play social games – and thanks to Amazon’s know-how, we believe we can deliver a great, accessible gaming experience that gamers and our customers can play any time,” continues the post.

Players are required to explore scenes from the aforementioned books and look for moving objects. The main objective here is to reunite fox families and revisit some of those famous stories. Like most other games on Facebook, this Amazon title also allows sharing rewards with friends and visiting them in the game.

Living Classics by Amazon Game Studios can be played for free on Facebook.
