It certainly hasn’t taken manufacturers long to deploy the third generation Intel processors in their devices and the Alienware M14x, M17x and M18x laptops are among the latest additions to pack in these CPUs. These rigs are even equipped with GDDR5-based AMD Radeon and Nvidia GeForce GPUs for an enriched gaming experience.
The M14x variant features up to 16GB of memory along with GeForce GT 650M graphics, within a 14-inch form factor. The M17x laptop comes with options of Nvidia and AMD GPUs, up to 32GB of RAM and a 17.3-inch 120Hz WideFHD WLED 3D display, while the M18x fits in dual GeForce GTX 675M graphics running on Nvidia SLI or dual Radeon HD 7970m cards on the AMD CrossFire mode.

Besides the Creative Sound Blaster audio chipset, the THX 7.1 digital surround sound and the Klipsch-branded speaker system, these newly refreshed notebooks house the Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, HDMI 1.4, USB 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 for connectivity as well as optional 3D HD displays and Blu-ray disc drives.
The Alienware M14x price tag reads as $1,099, while the M17x and M18x prices amount to $1,499 and $1,999 for standard configurations, respectively. These gaming laptops are available for purchase through the Dell.com and Alienware.com websites.
