Adobe Creative Cloud updated with new desktop applications

Adobe Creative Cloud

The Adobe Creative Cloud update has been made available with the new applications and features that were announced last month. At the Adobe MAX conference, the company disclosed that it would be terminating the Creative Suite lineup and would integrate all products under the CC umbrella.

The Adobe Creative Cloud service was announced last year during the month of May along with the Creatuve Suit 6. The latest actions carried out by the company are aimed towards bringing its license-based software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Dreamweaver and After Effects amongst others, under a subscription model.

These new CC desktop applications in the Adobe Creative Cloud update will enable cross-device collaboration and will provide publishing capabilities. This allows users to share their work with others online from Mac OS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Behance which is a platform designed specifically for creative professionals. Additionally, images can be tweaked on the Photoshop Touch mobile application, uploaded to the web and then reworked on with the desktop version of the editing software.

There are a total of 15 apps available in the Adobe Creative Cloud update. Photoshop CC is designed with a Camera Shake Reduction tool which removes blurs from images. Then there are new designer workflow enhancements as well as sharpening technologies that can be used to straighten out pictures. This tool and Illustrator CC are amongst the first in the package to support sharing with Behance. The new version of Premiere Pro tags along fresh editing features through the addition of Lumetri Deep Color Engine.

The Creative Cloud update is available for all members free of cost. Those currently owning CS3 or later products are entitled to a ‘Special’ promotional price of $29.99 per month. New customers can choose from Individual, education, team, government or enterprise plans which start at $49.99 per month based on annual membership and there’s a free 30 date trial being offered too.
