Acer upgrades Aspire E5-571 laptop with Intel’s latest Broadwell processors in India

The Acer Aspire E5-571 notebook family has been refreshed for India with the latest silicon Intel has to offer. The company is now offering models with the 5th generation Core processors which tout better performance and improved battery life amongst other enhancements.

The upgraded Acer Aspire E5-571 comes in a slim and light weight form factor which is mainly made possible by the new U series Core processors. The chips used here come with dual cores featuring Turbo Boost 2.02 and Hyper-Threading technologies from Intel and they also have improved graphics.

The power consumption has been greatly reduced as well, which improves battery life. The Acer notebook is estimated to deliver around 7 hours of activity on a single charge. Additionally, the company is throwing in optional Nvidia GeForce 800M series graphics for better performance in demanding games.

The new Aspire E5-571 will continue to flaunt the same design and also offer features similar to existing models. It’ll carry a 15.6-inch HD LED display and a full size keyboard on the bottom with a Precision Touchpad (PTP) supporting Windows 8.1 gestures. The notebook is also Skype Certified and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of HDD storage.

The Acer Aspire E5-571 with a 5th generation Intel Core i7 processor will retail for Rs 44999 and above. This price is for the base model and components like extra memory and discrete graphics will hike the retail tag much higher.
